SOMEONE ONCE ASKED ME TO DESCRIBE MY WORK IN TEN WORDS.
I SAID; REAL PEOPLE, SIMPLE BACKGROUNDS,
ALLOWING MY SUBJECTS PERSONALITY TO SHINE.

Hello! I’m so glad you took the time to pay me a visit! A quick crash course about me:
> I am an Alberta University of the Arts (formerly ACAD) Photography graduate, earning my Bachelor of Design with Distinction in 2014.
> I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember, receiving my first camera as a kid after mailing in several barcodes from cereal boxes.
(I still have the camera.) However, my passion was truly ignited by photographing many of the bands my friends were members of and other acts that came to my hometown of Lethbridge, Alberta.
> I am fascinated by people and strive to capture the endearing quirks & oddities in them that may go unnoticed by others. Being photographed can be a bit awkward so I endeavour to put everyone at ease to get the most genuine results.
> Making people laugh is one of my favourite things to do. I am a huge goofball who rarely gets embarrassed, although I see it as more of a gift than a curse. I am also a major klutz, meaning I fall quite often, which may make you laugh even when I’m not trying.
> I have never met a dog that I didn’t like. I will cross the street to pet a pooch and have been known to carry treats in my bag. I treat my own dog like royalty and will show you a hundred photos of him even if you didn’t ask.
